What matters is what the price covers: the method, the number of grafts, aftercare, follow-ups and any guarantee. Why headline prices abroad are hard to compare

Clinics advertise hair transplants abroad in very different ways. One quotes a price per graft, another a flat price per session, a third a package that bundles several extras. Two offers with a similar figure can end up very different once you add what each one leaves out.

The number of grafts is the biggest variable. A clinic that prices per graft can only give an estimate until someone has examined your donor area and the zone to be covered. • Local transport between the airport, your hotel and the clinic.
